Reclaimed Home

The project that began as a dreamy clubhouse at age 13 evolved into a fully functional studio home on the roof of our house in the old town of Jerusalem. The home was constructed from scratch using mostly salvaged materials collected over time, giving each element of its 18 square meter interior a rich history. Features like the mosaic countertop, floor-plank bar, shipping crate dresser, and wine bottle pendants all had a previous existence before becoming part of this unique abode.

Every element in this home was crafted from previously discarded materials, collected over time. For instance, the mirror is repurposed from an old ladder, while the desk finds new life from scrap wood found on the street.
